@kris The thing is that, you got no right and you cannot define a line where somebody else would get offended.
Some things may not be abusive to you and it might be part of of your normal conversation at your home with your family but it might be abusive for others. So, he got every right to claim that.
and "You got raped" is provocative for me as well
