A3 Mania Update Changelog

Dear Players,

As you might have been aware that we have taken quite a lot of time for the Server Update last time, we have worked very hard to roll out the most awaited 'SIDHE' update.

As a part of the Maintenance, we have performed an Operating System Reinstall. We have deployed a Full fledged x64 version of A3 Server which runs on x64 based Server Operating Systems which boosts the Game Performance and Game Experiance.

As a result of this change, the Ingame Latency would have been reduced by 20%. However the Latency when pinging the Server would be the same as before.

We have highly optimized the Server to support the highest load of players. Since all of you might be aware of the Load on the Server these days due to high Volume of players, we have make changes to make sure that the Game doesn't suffer performance issues even on Highest Load.

More Game Specific Changes could be found in the next few posts.

Event : Capture the Artifact

Capture the Artifact Event

We have added a new Regular PvP Based Event called Capture the Artifact. We would be using this event as a Nevia Replacement for Proxima.

Episode 5 Update Part 1

We have released the first phase of our Episode 4. This includes Sidhe, 1st Hamutz, 2nd Hamutz and 3rd Hamutz.
Sidhe is now based on Proxima and this means that your stats would change if you enter Sidhe. Please note that we had to make this change to make sure that the bosses that we are going to add at a later stage work perfectly since they are less on stats.
Sidhe and Hamutz maps are accessible to any character in the server, except for Bossing sessions.
Portal to Sidhe is from the Proxima Warp Point.

Please note that all Parts of Sidhe are categorized as a Free Player Killing Zone without any Penalties. Hence please observe caution while you are in the maps.

Bosses in Sidhe

Inorder to enchance the Bossing Experiance, we have introduced a New type of Bossing system.

All the boses so far in A3 could not be configured to give good drops, since such a change would badly spoil the game economy. Players always wish to see bosses giving good drops, but little do they know that those good drops to every player would end up reducing the value of the item itself and spoiling the economy. Hence, to deal with this situation, we have come up with a new type of Bossing system for Hamutz.

Boss Statistics
Boss Name: Erinyu
Location: Sidhe (Town Map)
Availability: Regular
Drops: Regular [Maximum 5 Drops Per Kill]

This boss could be killed by anyone who could gain acess to Sidhe.
Boss Name: Ishida
Location: Hamutz (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
Availability: Limited
Drops: Boss Specific

This boss is only accessible to specific players who meet the Boss Killing Requirement.
There are 3 types of Ishida, based on the Location that they are present.

1st Hamutz : Ishida (Ice Element)
2nd Hamutz : Arr Ishida (Fire Element)
3rd Hamutz : Di Ishida (Lightning Element)

Hamutz Bossing Sessions - Ishida

Since the Availability of Hamutz bosses are limited, they only Summon at a certain time of the day.

The Summon Time and Duration of all 3 Ishida Bosess are given below.
Boss Name: Ishida
Boss Location: 1st Hamutz
Boss Summon Time: 5:00 PM IST
Boss Kill Time: 1 Hour
Boss Name: Arr Ishida
Boss Location: 1st Hamutz
Boss Summon Time: 6:00 PM IST
Boss Kill Time: 1 Hour
Boss Name: Arr Ishida
Boss Location: 1st Hamutz
Boss Summon Time: 7:00 PM IST
Boss Kill Time: 1 Hour
When the Summon time approaches, the MAP is locked and only Players who meet the requirements are allowed to battle it. When there is no Boss Session in progress, the Map could be accesible by any players, but when there is a Boss Session, It could only be entered by the people who meet the entry requirements.

Entry Requirements for Hamutz Bossing

1. You need to be Rebirth 12 165 Level to Enter (According to Normal World Stats)
2. You need to have an Element Sceptor to enter the map.

The Following Element Sceptors are required for Map Entry.
1st Hamutz: Forn Sceptor
2nd Hamutz: Arr Sceptor
3rd Hamutz: Di Sceptor
On a successful entry, a unit Sceptor is removed from your inventory. It is not automatically removed from a Storage box, hence you have to take out the item to be able to enter the map. Once when you are out of the map again, inorder to re-enter, you are required to have another Sceptor.

Element Sceptors could be attained by performing Quests which are given by Sidhe Teleporter (Broom).

Killing the Boss

Each of the Boss in the Hamutz is blessed with a specific Elemental, Hence a strategic approch is essential to kill the boss.

We have decided to leave this to the players to figure it out themselves.

Boss Drops Distribution

All the Hamutz bosses give a maximum of 2 drops. They are given radomly to the players in the map who are with close proximity with the boss (10 Blocks).

The Items are directly transferred to the players Inventory, so please make sure that you have sufficient Inventory space. After a Drop is given to a player, an announcement message is sent to all the players in the map notifying about the Player who got the item and the item which the player has got as a reward.

When the boss is dead, the map is automatically unlocked to allow all the players in the map without an Item requirement.

Changes to Drop Rates

Since we have deployed Sidhe and made a lot of changes to the bossing, we have decided to make few changes to the Drop Rates to preserve the Ecomony of the server and value of igame items.

All the Clororence bosses will now drop only 1 item. The drop rate of the boss is 100% which means that you would get a drop for sure. We have removed the previous 3 items drop so as to preserve the economy by controlling the number of drops that are given. As a bonus, we have increased the unique drop rates for Clororence bosses.

All the other bosses drop rates have been left unaffected.

Changes to Mercenary Leveling

We have decided to use Proxima for Mercenary Leveling place.

Each Creep or Boss Kill in Sidhe would fetch 500 EXP per kill, when compared to the 10 EXP per kill in the Normal World. This ensures faster and easier leveling of the Mercenary.

However, since Proxima is a 1x Dimension, you cannot set a Mercenary to Attack Mode, Meaning that you could gain bonuses from the Mercenary, but you cannot use it to hunt in Proxima.

Player Killing has been Enabled in Carode as a result of the changes that have been made.

Rebirth 12 Quest

As we have already notified you about the new quests that are coming with Sidhe, We had to change the existing quests inorder to accomodate newer quests.

We have restored the RB 12 Quest to the default quest and we have added the RB 12 Quest as a new quest to Clororence Teleporter (Marishi).

The quest contents and requirements are not affected, but if you are already on the older quest, you will have to Quit that quest and take the Newer one.

I have talked to the Support Team about this issue and they say that players have to retake the quest and do it all over again, since we have already issued an announcement well at hand.

Changes to Client

We have added a new Login Screen.

PvP System

In Proxima, you will get a different PvP System Shouts. It will depict the Level of the characters only.

However, the PvP System in the Normal world is unaffacted.

The colors of the PvP System Notifications are changed to Orange color for better perception.

Bug Fixes and Minor Changes

We have made the following bugfixes:

1. Fixed issue with death on Knighthood Battleground you woundn't be able to Teleport back to town.

2. Fixed the Whanhellz and Billmade NPCs to prevent the entire Party from getting Teleported to other map.

3. Whanhellz is now placed at Clarb 2nd Floor enterance for easy access.

4. Whanhellz NPC now allows entry to Proxima with Mercenaries.

5. Swapped the Locations of the Item Socketing NPC and Healer NPC in Sidhe.

6. Archer Elegance Skill Description has been fixed.
