Re: Game Updates - Maintenance Release
Client Performance and Quality Control
We have released a new updated game client v1.8.0.0 which will give you more control on the graphics quality and performance of the A3 Client.

Use Discrete GPU
This option is useful for Laptop that have Dual GPUs (Intel and AMD) or (Intel and Nvidia). Generally Intel graphics is used for lightweight workloads to save battery power and Discrete GPU (Nvidia or AMD) is used for performance intensive tasks such as games. By default, the A3 Mania Client runs on Intel GPU thereby limiting performance. This option would help you switch between integrated and discrete graphics. By ticking the option, the game will utilize the discrete graphics card in the laptop if available.
Anti-Aliasing
Anti-Aliasing is a quality improvement that will blur out rough edges in the geometry of the characters and environment. You can select from 3 options.
OFF - Anti-Aliasing is turned off.
MSAA - Multisample anti-aliasing. (Balance between performance and quality).
SSAA - Supersampling anti-aliasing. (Prefer quality over performance on select Graphic cards).
MSAA and SSAA both run at 2x since there are diminishing returns beyond 2x.
We suggest to play around with this setting to find the best balance of quality and performance. Your mileage may vary based on your PC configuration and the GPU that you use.

Anisotropic Filtering
Anisotropic filtering makes distant objects in games look sharper. We suggest to always keep this option enabled because it has very little impact on the performance but makes the game look much better.

Arena is Live!
Arena is live and is accessible from Temoz and Quanato Arena Manager NPCs as well as Barley NPC in Sidhe.

A new Match Mode "Non Dex Match" is available in which the arena will prevent you from using Dex based Unique Weapons.

All Unique larcs are disabled from the Arena and cannot be used in any Match Modes.

HP and MP Candies
To reduce the impact of HP and MP candies on wars and make the game less candy centric, we have implemented cooldowns on Candies similar to the cooldowns that we have added on Rubal's Elixir and Void Stone in the past.
Both HP and MP candies will have a 30second re-use cooldown.
