Hello GM,
I have few questions regrading premium potion,
1.Rubal Elixir -
In scenario, a archer pops Rubal Elixir when hitting a mage who has Advance HP Abs - and assume archer deals 1000 damage to mage but cause of advance HP abs lets say mage takes 500 damage, website says archer will get 50% lifesteal with Rubal Elixir , so will archer get 50% of 1000 which he dealt damage OR 50% of 500 which mage damage received as life steal?
2. Dipone -
If a HK uses Dipone (Invisibility Potion) and gets hit by AOE spells like SB or Fury from enemy, so can he use Razz on the player? or Invisible characters are invulnerable during Dipone duration?

Re: Premium Potions
Archers elixir effect will only apply on the final damage after all the amplifications and deductions. In this case it will be calculated with 500 as the actual damage.longlivetheking wrote: Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:21 pm 1.Rubal Elixir -

Characters will be both invulnerable and invisible. You can't cast any spell or receive any damage from the spells.longlivetheking wrote: Sat Apr 05, 2025 8:21 pm 2. Dipone -

Correction: Elixir's Life Steal vs. Mage's Advanced HP Absorber
Misconception: Advanced HP Absorber reduces incoming damage.
Reality: It converts a fraction of the original damage into healing after damage is applied. Death overrides absorption.
Key Mechanics:
Damage Application:
Total damage is applied first to the Mage’s HP.
Example:
Mage HP: 1,000
Damage taken: 1,000
Result: HP drops to 0 → death.
Absorption Check:
Advanced HP Absorber only triggers if the Mage survives.
If HP > 0 after damage: Heal = (Damage × Absorption %).
If HP ≤ 0: No absorption (death overrides mechanics).
Elixir’s Life Steal Calculation:
Life steal is based on the original pre-mitigation damage (1,000 in this case).
It does not depend on whether the target survives or absorbs HP.
Why Absorption Doesn’t Alter Life Steal:
Order of Operations:
Damage → Apply to HP → Check for death → Then calculate absorption (if alive).
System Consistency:
Elixir’s life steal uses the initial damage value before any post-damage effects (like absorption).
Death is a binary state – no retroactive adjustments to calculations.
Conclusion:
If damage ≥ target’s HP, absorption is irrelevant (target dies).
Elixir’s life steal always uses the original damage value, independent of the target’s survival.
