Post by aryankhanna123 »

Greetings

When i execute A3.exe, it shows me error " the Application failed to initialize properly".

to install a3mania this i what i have done

1) i installed 7zip
2) Downloaded A3maina 562 client.
3) Right click on A3mania 562 client -> 7zip -> open -> extract to designated folder.
4) i then extracted the A3updater562_x86(i am using windows xp service pack 2).
5) i then extracted the A3maniaTCPfix using 7 zip and pasted the content in the data folder.

i have been trying to solve this for hours now, and would really be gratefull if u would kindly point out what i was doing wrong

Read the post :

http://www.a3mania.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3578

And after the 3rd step you have written extract the A3updater562_x86 ( for 32 bit ) and paste the

extracted files in the folder where u have installed A3 mania 562 client(copy and replace), then run

the a3 file. A3maniaTCPfix is used to fix lag.. There is no use pasting it in data folder, just run

the registry file.

And do read the above post in the given link.

Greeting Mr.jamesda

Ty for the above link. As per the link i downloaded and installed .net framework version 4.0, but still the A3.exe does not run. i get the following error

"A3.exe- .Net Framework Initialization Error

Unable to find a version of the run time to run this application
"

Do we need to specifically use some Framework, or is there something that i am doing wrong ?. Please help me out. This is my 3rd day trying to make the client run

Your help would be truly appreciated

I think this problem is happening wid most of the .exe file of ur system this happens coz of 3rd

party software like some anti-virus..

Solution you can try for .net frame :

1) Check if .Net is installed with laterst service pack available.

2) Copy the exe and the dll that are referenced in the exe, from a system in which your application is working fine, and replace in the system in which this problem is found.

3) Reinstall latest version of .net. While reInstalling turn off antivirus programs.

4) If any other version of .net is installed in the machine, remove the version and try.

try all.

Solution which might work :

Contact me [email protected] i will provide u wid the a3.exe and the .dll files which are

running ok in my system.. using those might work..

Try this also :

Mr.jamesda

Ty for your help and time.

I un installed .Net framework 4.5 and installed .net frame work 3.5
it seems the A3 client works only in the 3.5 version, for me atleast

However after executing the A3TcpIpFix, a registry is created at the desktop. but when i try to merge it with my registry i get error "Registry editing has been disabled bu your Administrator"

Also my game lags a Lot , i have a 352 kbps Broadband connection . Is thr any way to reduce the lag

to enable registry editing:

* Click Start, Run and type gpedit.msc and press ENTER
* Go to the following location:

User Configuration | Administrative Templates | System

* Double-click Disable registry editing tools and set it to Not Configured
* Exit the Group Policy Editor

Note: If the setting already reads Not Configured, set it to Enabled, and click Apply. Then revert it back to Not Configured. This ensures that the DisableRegistryTools registry value is removed successfully.

Others ways to remove lag is :

Click start , Run and type %temp% and enter and delete all files
