Hi,
Has anyone been able to successfully run this game on WINE? I am getting a d3d8 error in WINE and my system freezes after that.

Not sure if it will work in Wine. Some DirectX problem I think.

If you dont know what wine is, you should have stayed out of the post.

Will it be possible to run the on Linux in any other way? eg. VMWare, VirtualBox or any other VM.

I think u can run it in some version of VMWARE. Dunno exactly which version supports 3d utilities and DirectX. Should work.
