Ask people to come and post here. I want to see how many are facing problems. Create a poll somwhere. If the problem is with majority then yes I will be happy to fix something which does not need fixing.

Its only a Single ISP. We are playing from UK and we are not having any such problem.

@players please post screenshots of tracert reports and ping stats of minimum 100 packets. don't post just stating ur problem i had mentioned that in the very first post.

also it maybe worthy to note that many many ppl are facing the same problem, every hour we see many similar shouts ingame.

My ISP is a Local One ... Alliance Broadband .. Ill post the Tracert too ..feeling too sleepy while typing this >,< !

Can sm1 tell me how to trace da route.. i mean which command to type? n m gettin da same problem like u buddy!! bsnl user here!!

Sir, m a BSNL user n i tried pinging the ip's u gave!! m f9 wid 202.53.11.53

but on others, m getting rto all the tym!! moreover, when i open da other a3 servers, like elemsts n all... da server is ON!! but wid mania itz server down!! i hv no idea, whatz wrong wid mania server!! m it gets fixed automatically after 4-6 hrs!! datz all m story is! if i approach to isp, what shud i tell them xactly! plz do tell me regarding this also!! For Tracert ..go to Command Prompt and Type "tracert acp.a3mania.com"...!

go to cmd and press

tracert -d 202.53.11.50

u will know the ms of ur game and paste it here and i get 250ms

before i used to get 30 ms

UNLESS YOU LIVE IN A METRO CITY WITH GOOD NETWORK COVERAGE.. DONT TRY PLUG TO SURF.

THE ONLY BEST OPTION FOR PLAYING A3 IS TATA VSNL BECAUSE THEY GIVE A PERMANENT STATIC I.P. AND A FIXED BAND WIDTH JUST FOR YOU. ITS LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN DEDICATED LEASED LINE. I HAVE USED IT FOR YEARS. I AM NOT SAYING ITS AN ISP FROM HEAVEN BUT YEA COMPARED TO ANY OTHER IT IS THE BEST SERVICE PROVIDER. AIRTEL IS ALSO BUT I HAVENT TRIED IT COZ ITS NOT AVAILABLE IN MY CITY .

AND USE ANYTHING ELSE TO PLAY A3.... THIS IS WHAT U FIND URSELF DOING

Dude, my download speed it 5-10 mbps.. still I get pings around 200 from the UK. Your Download speed theory does not apply on latency and pings.

And yea. FYI for everyone. If you are using any kind of wireless net connection, 3G, Wimax.. getting good pings will be RARE(near to impossible). Get a proper wired broadband if you want to get good pings and avoid RTOs
PS: there can be exceptions.

we lag if the server network is far from our city not that much far thought not sure about it but listened from my friend

so obvious i am from andra pradesh and none of the mania server is in andra pradesh thats why all people lagging before i used to get 30ms and now why its skyrocketed to 255??

Sorry to burst your bubble.. but FYI, Mania servers are in Hyderabad. And the last time I checked... Hyderabad was in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

There are lot of reasons for RTOs and high pings... the main being the path taken by the ISP to send the packets to our server. Just do a traceroute and see what is the path which your ISP uses to send the packets to our server. Just take a screenshot for the tracert and post here. I will decrypt the path for you.
