Besides, having 1 person doing all server related jobs on mania has created huge backlog of work to do. We've been waiting for so many updates, like lvl 166 and SSS etc....now you pile up more things on your desk to deal with, like a new server, wouldnt that simply take your attention away from this server, and not to forget you have exams and real life to deal with...
I agree with Eros instead of making new server better to upgrade this one and let all join this one "THEY ARE ALWAYS WELCOME" in Mania.

SEPERATE server that cool but I don't think that u get that database file from Sify guys so as we all know how tough is to do lvling in 1x server and giving what they have is not fair to others since all things are bugged,hacked etc etc

You will also be killing this server population, see all the people who purchased here with Real cash, will most probably be stayng here, unless they want to move to new server, and spend tons of more cash. People who havent spent a penny on this server or have just joined, would move to a3mania india based server for perks like reduced lagg etc...anyway, overall this will only make this server less worthy..
If you really want to attract the crowd from a3india, then make it worthwhile for em in Mania. Its not like a3mania is run by a staff on salary? Creating more work, server expenses, website designing, and just the general dealing with all the new players, on top of that, a potential loss of clients from mania by creating a competitive server...this is just bad business sense.

We are not doing any business and we do not mind loosing people to our other own server. All we think is whats good for A3 community.
We do not run for profit and do not give any care for that. So do not bring these things in this discussion. Only give valid concerns and nothing related to monetary benefits or player counts.

S ill be happy if u guys takeover india server:D
it wud be nice if u install 1X server n wud be best if u all install server with database of A3india server.
Then we wud get died char. with smiling.......
We are now feeling just helpless cause we had done tooo mch hard work on the char in India server so u can understand our Sentiments

We cannot jsut take over A3 india server. It is not possible as sify will not give to us. We can only use the same database, provided sify gives it to us.

the thing is even if u make a sister server of Mania wid 1x ....... they wud still b attratced towards a server wher they can make even better characters than an original server.... + its gonna b very tiring job for u guys ........ already Scar is taking much high toil on his health part .................... so i suggest that u just increse the database capacity of Mania so they also can shift here.......................
+ having a sister server can also cause lagg issues

Bandwidth of the Server?? Its on 100mbps unmetered. It has got a download speed of about 15mb/sec. And about the hardware, it can support 3 Simultaneous A3 Servers running back to back.

I hear you but something must be lacking somewhere, if someone like me on a quad core machine with two SLI video cards card and 10 Mb/s connection is lagging.

Same PC config with me. but only 256 kbps net. No Lag for me. So its MUST be your ISP.

Eros better do "Tracert" that will help u
If u dont know the command pls see below:
go to cmd prompt and type
tracert IP (Ip will be of Mania Germany Server) and u can chk were is the Lagging Issue it will show u the time used to connect to server

Yeah Instead of making new server better increase the Bandwidth of the server as u can see almost 100 player online during daytime which will definately increase sooner ot later

I guess and assume that you do not know how much bandwidth is needed for the A3 server. Read reply of Scar above... again. The current bandwidht is like 1000 times more of what it is required.

GMs hav a lot of work to do.. Adding up a new server wil just increase their work load...
There is nothing wrong in setting up a 1x server...
But dont let us feel that we(players) in mania r getting Neglected... after the new server comes up...
