I say, let the Mania $ be used only for the Arcade games and such. What you should do is implement a separate Karma/Reputation system, so that people can "exalt" whoever makes nice posts, and "smite" whoever is just making annoying posts. At the end of the day, you could just look at somebody's Karma, and say, "Oh, this guy has Karma of 10, he must be a good addition to this forum.."
