guyz .. remember A3india ? it was hosted on Indian servers na ? na na ? it never lags or DC.
so .. try to set up a server like they did, am sure Sify didnt use TATA lines XD .. ask around see how they did it.

Indian players > international players .. so consider them first. they will thank u in return .. but they wont make donations coz most are broooooke

Sumanth GM is saying maintenance cost is less in Germany. if server crashes u expect gms to pay money frm their pocket for our entertainment ?
we r nt ready to pay a penny for our entertainment ( No hard feelings ).
Imagine server crashes and wat should they do ? if no improvement in E shop even after shifting to India they can maintain it in Germany with less maintenance cost.

My Vote to Germany since i lagg a bit less there but wait fr 2 months if there is no improvement in e shop items u can shift.
GMs Place uniq sets in e shop there will be some improvement and the best idea is implement pin system .. because most of the indian players r a3 india players .. so they may be ready to buy pin.

server @ india is very good very less ping(40-90) i just came back bec of no lag:D....use to get ping b/w 200-350...Less ppl r cming online these days bec of 10th and 12th exam...even from my cafe 2-3 ppl more will cm after there 12th exam....

Wasnt A3 india P2P? hence they had staff and a expensive server and they could afford it, if people are ready to pay monthly like that with a pass, i think mania will be like that too.

sify din use tata lines bcoz they themselves r an isp

Sify is an Internet Service Provider. Its obvious for them to run Lag Free server. DCing won't happen because it is OFFICIAL server. There is a lot of difference between India and Mania.

i dont know where it is placed but it has a lot of players
and the reason im mentioning it here is because both Indian and Outta India players could play
with 0 lag.. so if u can move it to sm places like that then it wud a lot convienient

srry for late reply coz i was hving sm prob in ma explorer prob but i would like to mention that m real happy wid current pings coz i was abt to leave game if old server had continued n many had already left as per ma info

i really thank GMS for shifting server to india n it may make sm ppl suffer too who r out of india or watever

alright so heres the right thread for me now as am from abroad
i saw all the treads from starting came across every type of threads,

see Maniacs in india are getting lesser pings nd they r enjoying it(view on an over all basis) but the prob is its costing 2 much for the gm's(its pretty obvious)

Maniacs in abroad have almost left da game nd r just on hopes sever goes back 2 germany as it was convenient for them 2 play

alright Indian players just a question answer urself honeslty did it really lagged like hell when da server was in Germany??? i mean for u if it used 2 lagg was it like a Hellll??? i mean 300 around who would have been getting dat??
plz keep the silver line between lagging heavily & cant move and getting high pings but a smooth gameplay, i bet ppl were on high pings(high pings in comparision to pings wat u are getting rite now)
( EXCEPT AIRTEL USERS plz exclude urself ur router sucks fr mania still after the shifting:-p)
i played mania from North india and i also used get high pings but never lagged, playing was smooth

There are other factors also which cant be ignored like the cost of running da server in India and in Germany etc.
It doesnt matters if gm's want 2 make mania to be above money orientation, expenses have to be paid, it cant be ignored
Indian players till the time server was in germany use to get pings which were high then now but were playing smoothly, and abroad players were happy also but now as the server shifted its better for indian gamers but wat about the maniacs all over da world?? and wat about the burden which u guyz(gm's) are bearing apart of money issues??? u guyz have ur own life as well and it cant be ignored fr just a game

As for Gm's and Admins i thinking seeing people online on the indian server and
varying the data with german server and seeing e shop donations will surely put the picture in front of u guys, and then u can decide what u want to do.

Even better as some said try to get a place where both players from abroad and india can peacefuly exist in 1 server

Note:- this is just a suggestion, i hope i havent offended any1, if i did i apologize

if there is no improvement in e-shop then i ll VOTE for Germany
becos if indian player wants to play on low ping then we need some e-shop improvements from india itself
i dont want GMs to spend money from their pocket for our entertainment
