just a thought. maybe you should make the deadline a time. whoever posts after that time (ideally with reference to forum time), will not be considered.
If you're going to close threads n decide, ppl are bound to complain saying u showed partiality n stuff. doesnt make a difference though, but isnt it better to avoid it? considering ur short temper

GD ..if he makes it time bound ...then ppl just w8 for the exact time and bid 1 min b4 that ..how is d person who bidded earlier gonna post his bid b4 that ... he will loose n the guy who just w8ed whole day n logined at the time whn auctions were bout to close and bidded will win...its kinda unfair..

unfair. its pure luck... but takes the liability off the GM's head.
N for that matter what if someone by luck logs in n bids his first bid while numenor is closing the thread? he'll be accused for lots of stuff which at this point of time will seem senseless

n btw.. it was just a suggestion from my end. GM is the person who will decide n i am sure its in real good hands of Numenor

u made a bid on 27th aug 1:00ppm

now u will w8 for d other person to bid

now that person bids 8:59 pm 28th aug

wat then ? u cant bid now .. time's up u lose.. thats wat is unfair

I will close only when the bidding is cold and no more bidding is on. I currently see few topics getting cold. I am watching them. Will close the few but will keep the HOT auctions open.

You do not understand Auctions. This is how it goes. The one who can Bid the maximum wins. The person who puts the auctions wants to get as much money he can from the item.

Anyways.. if I close the thread randomly now.. then either of alex or maximus will cry that I closed it randomly. So its better either of them give up. I have already closed other auctions. Go have a look around.
