Hi GMs,
I have this growing concern how GMs keep changing there mind which has direct impact on players in many ways. For eg. lot of players who were here from start told me, they had it easy, cuz they were able to buy wz from eshop at one point, as soon as GMs realized this could ruin the game economy they discontinued it, regardless of how many players who already took advantage of it, its all good, I am not complaining, whatever was done, is good for server. Recently GMs changed Renias attack power, since it became too easy for selected people to hunt it, which also makes sense, but a lot of players for that ez in hunting Renias, made Archers, probably bought eshop items and other similar things.
I clearly remember reading, when the item drop due to death was implemented that if player has RN, "Both" Player n Merc are safe from dropping items now I came back after 2 weeks to find out that it has been changed, now both player and merc need a RN to prevent item drop due to death. I saw a post by Ghostwalker saying he might contemplate purchasing another RN for Merc, so was I and lot of other eshop users....now imagine something like this changing after 2 weeks or a month, then purchasing extra RN from eshop will be such a waste of our hard earned money?
I know there are a lot of ppl who complain on this game over cash players etc, but the real concern is for ppl who are spending and have spent real money on this game. We cant plan ahead if GMs keep changing certain key things in game which could bear a direct impact on us (financially).
Recently tholls rules were changed to include Uni weapons and I'm GLAD I didnt go ahead with purchasing a g10 lvl 15 xbow from eshop which I was gonna use specifically for tholls. So my big question to GMs is, can we have some things in this game set in stone?
Thanks

Woonz from Eshop - 1 Bil was INR 200. So that means the Max Value of G8 Unique ingame and from Eshop is about 5 bil, which we wanted to remove because woonz rate is fine enough.
Ranias- Don't expect to solo the strongest boss in Episode 3. There needs to be some Tactical way.

Redyan Necklace - We have just Implemented Item Falling upon death for CHARACTER ONLY. Merc Item Dropping was Pre-existant. They were falling right from the very start and they always needed a Redyan Necklace on the character, or having a Saving Scroll. Since many people have a Redyan Necklace on their character, You should have no worries about what we have implemented. Even if we haven't many any Implementation, you should be saving your Merc Items by making special efforts.
Redyan Necklace is useless for this. Just carry a Saving Scroll. That too the Saving Scroll will vanish only if the Merc is likely to drop any item, unlike the character when the Saving Scroll drops everytime you die.

It depends upon your way of Interpreting it. It is impossible to run the server without any EShop keeping in mind the cost of hosting and stuff. Key things will be changed. There will be changes from time to time. You need to treat an Eshop Donation as a Help for us to Run the Server, rather than any item of special benefit ingame.

Thols??? When, where and how??? I don't have any idea about the upcoming Thols at the moment, and I don't know how you are saying that Uniques are not allowed. We haven't made any plans of any sort. I just told Kai and Danni to plan something. I am totally out of the Event Issues for the timebeing.
There will be changes made to the Server regardless of the Eshop or things like that. I even think we need to replace Redyan Necklaces because it looks like the Newer Server is not having Redyan Necklace. I am still working on it. Lets see if I am able to Implement the item back again, or else we will have to replace that item with some other item for all the eshop buyers and we might come up with some understanding with the people who have got it as a drop.
Even more changes are yet to come..

Scarrrrr...PLs dont Remove RN

.....Mages Will be on a Big Disadvantage..Every Char will be on a Disadvantage

....!!!!
try Implementing it on the New Server..!!
Well..i Agree to Eros oN the Ranias Damage Increament...Coz the damage has been Increased HAving Low Rb Cant Even Thnk of Attempting It..And the only Char Able to Kill it In a small period of time..Is an archer...!!
So ppl are making mroe archers For the Sole Purpose of Killin Ranias....!!
I agree its the Strongest boss iN Epi 3..but I guess Uve Increased the Damage too much...a hk merc wid G9 set and 4k Def...Needs Constant Potting Manually...And if u miss to Pot it Once...It dies...pls try Decreasin it a bit !!

Strong move of removing RN from server, i personally like it

, it will change the game all together. People will pk less due to item drop scare, ss price will hike, noobs will lvl up peacfully

hahahahah. MAges wont sedi all the time also and Archers cant wd all the time, mana will rape archers wd and hk will use mana carefully. It will be a total new game

All of us who have got RN bought it wid a lot of thngs in our mind.......nt each n evry mage or archer bought juz fr pk pk. i personally bought fr various reasons.... i can hunt or boss longer in maps i dnt need 2 carry SS n i dnt need 2 worry abt exhaustion fr a long period of tym. The property of RN coupled wid Iartekk cant b denied.
so this is a request 2 not 2 remove d RN coz some of has already set our gameplay using it n nw 2 change our gameplay w/o infinite mp will a pain......
so plz Scar dnt remove RN from dis server.

scar isnt removing rn
hes tryin to introduce a item which will compensate the rn
or maybe even more better than rn
scar will never take a finger pointed at him
he will always try to compensate things for his actions
so chillax and i have a redyan necklace as well and im a mage
so its more important to my class than ne other
dont worry and always hope the best

Please read this Carefully word by word.
What the problem with every individual playing the game is that they think for the benefits or losses or anything which is going to affect the particular singular entity. BUT we have to think about the server as a whole and not the benefits and losses of one person or a small groups for a person. For a greater good we will not even think twice to change anything which might be not good for a small bunch of people. That is the main reason we deny or not listen to requests which we do not seem fit.
You might not understand the reason for the particular change at that particular moment and cry over that. You might think that you are at loss but gradually you will come to know why it was important. Go back a bit and look at our previous decisions which were definitely cried over.. but were required and important.
So nothing will be carved in stone as requested and we will keep on changing things which seem fit to us. The above reply is in general to all changes that we make and not targeted towards any change in particular.
I hope this reply clears your mind and you seem to understand and try to look things with a different perspective.

I always find this bit hypocritical e-"SHOP" and "Donation" in same sentence, shop by definition means exchange of good where buyers needs something from seller, here we all bought something with a understanding that we will receive something and not with the idea of "donating". Donation means voluntarily giving without expecting back any form of compensation. I was lured into buying those items, I know you guys need money to run the server but I spent $500!! Oh My God! I'm not crazy enough to "Donate" money. So, this illusion of donation shouldnt be there, this in North American MMORPG world is called F2P (free 2 play game) but paying to get perks like items etc is optional but this is in no form a donation.
If you ask anyone here to spend $500 on intangible things like "in-game items" vs to simply donate $500, which one do you think they will pick? Once again this is free to play game and "buying with real cash" which is NOT "donation" is optional..
Dynamic game such as this with new updates and growing population is always in transition which calls out for other simultaneous changes to support its smooth functioning, understood and I realize its a huge task with handful of you managing all of this, with server costs being one of the many problems but think in our perspective too, now after spending money you are saying you will change some of the items that we "already" bought.
If I am buying Mercedes, thinking its Mercedes and then find out it was switched with Corolla something which I wouldnt have bought in first place, then I could have spent the money elsewhere?
You've mentioned making changes to RN, I havent heard what the alternative is or how we(shop users) will be compensated, it could be better or worse, but regardless, what choice do we have in this? I purchased 2 sets of RN(2) n Irrtek(2) with the clear understanding that combo will give me infinite MP and other bonuses, this will be all be taken away, on a whim and there is nothing I can do, how is that fair to me or anyone who spent cash here?
Also, we all know GMs running this server are good people, working hard for us and you dont get paid to do it, you are the real ones donating time n lot more and your intentions are pure, but please take away the illusion that this server is run on "donation" its running on hardcore gamers who are willingly spending $100's on in-game items who otherwise wouldnt spend money if they dont get something in return. Again, is exchange of intangible goods, and by any definition can it be called a donation?

well, as far as I knw, the reason y they call it donation is b'coz I think it isnt allowed to sell items of a video game legally in a lot of countries for real cash, @least thts wht d reason which was given to me by another GM of another game (nt an A3 server).
Hence they call it donation, and "gift" u those items in game in return for ur "donation"
