Someone came up with a terrific idea of keeping low level characters as "boosters" as they consume minimum amount of experience while hunting in the party.

I was wondering what if we keep bunch of a5's in the party while levling a non-aura character. Wondering if there would be any effect on the experience gained by non-aura character. :-\

@chats i dont think der wud be increase in xp..i mean boosters dont consume less xp. Xp is equally distributed to all party members. If der wud be all a5 in party den its all on d hunter.. D funda behind xp distribution shud be disclosed :-?

Wen u are in game and u press 'A' den u'll find dat der is a box showin experienced gained and experience required for next level... the experience reqd keeps on increasing wid lvl's.. therefore evn if d xp is evenly distributed the % gained is not same :D

Firstly, more no. of warriors doesn't necessarily mean more no. of boosters. They could be desperate scammers too.

Secondly, boosters do give more XP output per mob.
Make a party with one booster, note the time he takes to reach level 50. Let's assume this time is T.
Make a party with two boosters, with the same hunter, and mage who pans at the same rate on the mobs, you'll see that both the boosters will be level 50 (maybe around level 55) in the same time T, i.e more XP output per mob.

I am not completely sure about the exp distribution but here's my analysis regarding it..
1. Total exp generated while killing monsters depend on 2 things, DMG of the hunter basic as well as critics, secondly it depends on the number of pple in party which are within the range of the hunter. So the amount of exp generated becomes fix as per the above constraints..
2. Now the distribution of the above mentioned exp is done in proportion of the lvls of the party members. so the highest lvl member of the party will receive the highest exp points (not highest percent of exp). So if more number of lowlvlers in party then the few high lvlers will get higher exp provided the hunter is giving high dmg.

Now regarding A5 in party. What i feel about A5 is that they are not considered while the exp generation, that is the exp generation system doesnt take them in account while generating exp, but the good part is though the exp generated is less (as compared to all beain non aura) A5 are not considered while distribution of exp (unless they are in negetive)

Modsoul may be right, presence of a booster may not increase the XP output per mob but instead the booster, being a low level, sacrifices XP for the higher level members, if the XP is distributed in proportion to the level of the party members. So in effect, it's the same thing: more no. of boosters gives more XP to the high levelers.

1 booster, XP acquired by each of the 6 party members (all 6 equal auras) = Total XP/ 6 (assuming the booster's level is very low and the XP acquired by him is negligible)

2 boosters, XP acquired by each of the 5 party members = Total XP/ 5

No boosters, XP acquired by each of the 7 party members = Total XP/ 7

With 2 boosters, the 5 aura players each would level up 40% faster than each of the 7 aura players without a booster.

With 1 Non aura, 6 aura players, he would acquire less XP at the beginning and then start acquiring more with each level up he takes, nevertheless it's going to take him a looong time and nobody would really benefit.

Note: All the calculations are made presuming Modsoul's analysis is complete and right.

Well from my experience, what i have seen while doing GP party for lvling Netdemona, GD and Chandraluna..... in which Netdemona was the hunter and its stats and passives were in total attack mode......

We use to keep 6 aura people in party and 1 Uber booster(or imbaa Nub).... and to be frank, people use to say that our party rocked alot.....

With the above stated arrangement, we discovered that,

- Even-though u have 6 aura people in ur party it doesnt affect the rate of Xp received to each aura member, as the Xp required by each aura person irrespective of their Auras is same, as the Xp required for lvling each aura is 2 million(Thats an approx figure).....

- Hence, if u keep 1 uber booster in ur party, it will provide every aura member an imbaa Xp.

- 2 Uber booster will increase the rate of xp.... but at the same time, u'll have to remove 1 aura person to contain that booster...... which will be unfair to that person.

- For getting good Xp..... both members of the party and Booster should not be laaging.... coz in such condition, if booster would be laaging the party members wont be able to get proper xp.....

- If the Hunter is an Auara 5 character, and if he is having Xp in -ive...... it will affect the rate of xp to party members too..... coz even that guy will be sucking up the Xp until and unless, his xp reches upto 0%.

Rite now, i wrote what i remember, will edit this post if i remember something else......

Regards~ :)

Umm, If the party is meant for leveling only auras, I would recommend three boosters :D
The other two aura party members can make another party preferably at a different time (if they are not comfortable with half of the creeps being cleared by the first party), both the parties will benefit because they don't have to take much time to acquire a given level. If it's a 6-aura party, each person would have to wait longer than if it were two 4-aura parties.
You could argue that two 6-aura parties could help more people, but I've never seen 12 auras leveling simultaneously :)

Mania is not totally levelling oriented. Thats why we drafted the Proxima plan.

i guess it depends upon the way its being handled by the party makers..... i just presented my views which i discovered at that point of time...... but, even u are rite.... lvling a character with more no. of Uber nubs is the best way of lvling in GP..... though it depends upon people who make their party for lvling people...... :)

Actually according to my experience..
I think if the number of boosters exceeds by3 and there is only1 aura to suck exp
dat aura chr comparitively gets less exp coz dat time d boosters suck all exp....
Dis is a perfect party-
A5 hunter
A1-5 panner
KW3 HK any lvl below 165
and 2 non aura
which will dual 2 lvl 1 boosters :yahoo: :-bd
