Hello GMs,
This particular post is in response to Scar's shouts in game few days back and the notification for using e-shop in welcome notice of game.
In order to increase the e-shop usage and to keep up people's interests, I suggest a Discount Coupon System. This is a merely a suggestion just because I love to play A3 mania, you can ignore it otherwise. ;)
In this Discount Coupon System, you can make something like 10% discount coupon items, which you can distribute to winners by holding events (along with other rewards ).
For every coupon given, there is a high probability of any stuff being sold from e-shop especially the stuffs with higher price because here we are not referring to absolute discount but percentage.
Now, this also means that ultimately it is going to reduce the price of your stuffs when the number of coupons will increse in game.
Yes, it is true, for the first ever coupon released, its price can be much high if we consider buying a Diamond Membership which is worth 10000 INR and 10% discount means 1000INR waived, something like a G8 uni free. But when it goes on the number of sales increse covering more than the reduced price.
In case, you get boom in e-shop, then this may lead to loss of non-rc people and new people in game, this can be helped by putting a check to number of such coupons (once every week seems optimum) and holding some events specifically for such people (don't say that they can't be recognized in game) with which they can atleast sell such coupons at a good price.
Why this scheme?
Because this is something already proved business/marketing strategy. What do various brabded showrooms do? A discounted thing of INR 2000 and something w/o discount costing INR 2000, what do you think people buy?
Coupons something similar to MOR...
Mark of Rubal has nothing to do much in game, every day a bonus map is there and rich people keep buying MOR after that, noobs are benefitted too. (Also Notice that its price has halved in 6 months).
Extra:
Validity Period of coupon can be additional thing to increse the sale.
10% + 10% system instead of flat 20% in case you allow using multiple coupons at a time with some limit. (This point should be ignored to decrese the sales at much lower price)

I invite any knd of suggestions or modifications. I simply care to play long in this game and love the game, so I wrote this. And yes I don't play rc and I never will.
