Unable to login even though server is on

Dear Gm,
I have faced this problem many times.. It so happens that if I enter my password wrong 2-3 times by mistake, the client doesn't have any response to the corrected password. upon opening the client again, I am just not able to login to any of my characters. It seems as though the server is down, but its always up
could you please look up the issue and revert back asap
