Sir plz help Novasky n Vipermage both got scamed by archiee named archer

Why is that you guys play the game with your eyes closed? This is total stupidity.

I don't believe that this guy got scammed. I saw Bruteforce online today and he had a lvl 5 Aura and a Grahsat. If a scammer wanted to pretend to be the same guy, it would be difficult without the kit and the aura; the kit can be managed for a while but the aura takes a lot of time. Nobody would be stupid enough to trade their valuables with someone like "Brutoforce" which I'm guessing has no aura, let alone a good kit.

I believe these two are in this together. If you ask me for my opinion, let it be. Ban both accounts.

@Hussian - i even have shouted that Archiee scammer online, there exist even Stormknigth character which the scammer uses in sidhe and asked me RN once.

All people on server knows - I NEVER SHARE STUFFS OR DETAILS WITH ANYONE and Neither do i ask people for stuffs.

I doubt some fishy activity here... GM please check BRUTOFORCE character is in whose ID and Post it over here and Ban the people who do it.

Why on earth do you guys even deal all of your stuffs to someone random guy without confirming the name? I find it so difficult to guess what might be driving you guys into doing such things.

To make the names clear we display it in Capital letters with proper spacing between words. Is it so hard to differentiate between the real character and imposter?

Whoever is owning Brutoforce and this guy Vipermage should both be banned. I cannot believe that someone would go to the extent of coming up with Aura 5, similar sounding KH name and kit, just so that they can scam one gullible person.

GM Blade, please don't let this pass under the bridge. Otherwise, more players will dump their stuff into new accounts and claim that they got scammed. When they get their kit back, they have that and the old one which they claimed got scammed. If these guys are smart enough to take screenshots of the trade then they should've taken a screenshot of Brutoforce along with his KH symbol.

Even if you put this incident aside, let's look at what happened here. These items were being transferred from one account to the other for 0 WZ, i.e. items were being shared. That itself is against the rules, especially if the Redyan's Necklace was purchased [Donor item] from the e-Shop.

It's ironic to me considering how he thought it was important to take a screenshot of the deal but was not important to check the Character Name.

Indeed! Also, there is the simple fact that when you create and delete a character, the character name remains in the database. This makes it easy to pull out which account had created the fake character using a few DB queries. Soon enough you can figure out the IP address and perma-ban the bugger who did this.

Checking with such issues is easy for us. The biggest problem about scamming is that we cannot correct define it.

People attribute scamming to Mistaken Deals (Dealing to the wrong person), breaking trust (You trusted someone and the other person scammed the stuffs), luring people into actions (Forcing people into false promises and asking them for items) and hacking mistaken as scamming (Someone hacks your account and you say the items got scammed all of a sudden).

Hence, when dealing with scam issues, each character involved comes up with a different story which makes it hard for us to deal with such issues. Scam issues only happen because of player's actions and they have nothing to do with the GMs or the management.

The only way of preventing scam issues in the server is not by banning scammers (which is difficult because they come up with new characters all the time), but by awareness. Dealing is meant to exchange stuffs, not give away stuffs.
