Hi,

If I leave the merc ON for hunting and go afk, it stops hunting after 5-10minutes until I move from the co-ordinates and kill a creep. As soon as I move and kill a creep it starts hunting again.
Is this mechanism intentional or a bug ?

This behavior is intentional.

That would mean that I cannot level my merc anywhere other than SR without RN.

SR is a dedicated map for mercenary leveling.
