I would like to report this that if we go afk in normal map with merc on, after some time the merc also stops attacking. I have noticed this many time, at first i thought i end up with my arrows but that was not the case, even with hk merc i faced same issue. I kept my char afk in carode and kept merc on "Attack closest enemy " option, it was doing well till after around 10-15 mins merc wouldn't hit any creeps, i had to move my character then reset merc option then it started attacking.

Kindly fix this, I know we have separate map for merc leveling but that map is hard if you don't get party. it would be much more help if we could just go afk with merc on in random map.

If your character gets exhausted, your mercs will stop hitting. You will have to visit a healer to get rid of the exhaustion level on the character.

Exhaustion penalties are disabled in Skyring.

Even with RN on we are facing this issue and if exhaustion is the case, after moving character and changing merc policy for attack, it starts hitting again without tping home to recover from exhaustion.

Just curious if one can go afk in low level map like carode to get merc xp when no Skyring party is available.

Since very few ppl r making Sky ring parties and they don't allow new players in their parties.

There are no merc restrictions.

The merc stops attacking after few minutes. kindly enable the merc attacking in all maps just like in sky ring map.

If there is no restriction on mercs in normal maps then it is a bug, mercs stopping hitting after some time if the player is afk.. if the player moves then merc starts hitting again

I face same problem.
My character level is low and I cannot go to Skyring. So, I visited low level map and died twice while afk.

Afterwords when I check i found that after 15 mins I need to attack or move from my position for merc to start attacking monsters again.

GM disabled it a couple of years ago.
