Is Critical Hit Rate Capped at 99%?

Hello GMs,

I read somewhere that the A3 game mechanics locks the Critical Hit Rate at 99%, and anything beyond that becomes a waste.

After doing some basic calculations, I found that it's possible to stack up to 106% Critical Hit Rate through gear, shue, mercenary, and passive skills. I Did this for Archer Class.

Can you please confirm if the game really caps Critical Hit Rate at 99%, and any excess has no effect?

Would appreciate an official clarification.
