Virus again in mania Client!!!

Hello!!! GM's or admins

My antivirus recently found a virus in mania client...
this is the second time its happening

1.) Was in 511 manual patch..
2.) Now also in the recent 512 patch...

So i kindly ask u ppl to take care of issue..

sm antvirus softwares like Mcafee, Avista..
are totally blocking/deleting the Client file
so v r unable to open the game...

and here is the proof of it...

the name of the virus is "C:\Program Files\A3 Mania\A3 Mania Client\A3Client.exe a variant of Win32/Packed.Themida potentially unwanted application".. right??

well its used by software designers to protect their files against malware... so basically it does not do any harm to ur computer.. just exclude it frm ur antiivirus!!

Akshat... i know it wont farm our systems but the thing is the
antivirus software is blocking/deleting the client file...


so can u tell me how to add the infected file to
safe point in Mcafee so that it wont delete again..

Btw Scar wat do u meant by fake detection???

Mcafee is a utter useless antivirus which you can get in the market. There is no way to add exception in home products from McAfee. The reason I left using McAfee was just due to this. Only enterprise level virus scanners from McAfee have exclusion option of files/folder.

Only suggestion: UNINSTALL McAfee and use any other antivirus program or keep it disabled while playing A3 Mania.

Kaspersky and Norton 360 is what I use. Norton 360 on dekstop and kaspersky on laptop.

about NOD 32 ya goodantivirus..... keeps pc light
AVAST nice also
NORTON-makes PC slow especially when pc gets started needs 5mins to get normal zzzz
