I am using full G10 mace HK set wit swrd HK shield and G10 Mace weapon.. still getting only def of 40 from hidden options .. checked and confirmed it..

Read the Option correctly. It says Increase BASE defense by 80. I guess you are looking at the right side value. You need to check the Dexterity. Not the Defense.
