as per the topic creator his account is hacked just by giving up his email id.
is it possible to hack an account just by knowing the email id?

and if it is true then its a really a big issue cause we have to give our email id to other people for many other reasons too(interaction, work, study etc etc.)
in that case anyone can gt hold of it and can hack any account!
what is the solution in this case?(apart from dont give ur email id to unknown people)

well..i thnk there is a way to retreive ur email ID also...they take steps so that incase u forget pass or get hacked u can retreive the email ID too...maybe dat could help once ur email ID is hacked.. !

so its basically email id hack issue....damn thats bad.
but to add security i think gms can add something like account id or something else along with the email id for resetting password(i am not sure cause i never tried resetting my password).
