Unable to start game

i m unable to start game i have downloaded th cleint nd th patch
when i click on th updater it shows
"Run Time error 429"
ActiveX component cant create object
pls reply as soon as possible

Re-Run it. It should work. Same happened to me while I tried running the client from office. After re running it.. it worked. Or reboot the PC Once.

well check out if u r using antivirus of AVG or Kasperdky it wil not run the game...so u need to switch it off...

can be this th problem related to ActiveX or th setup is corrupt

well one more way try to download the set up again if it is corrupt...

use firefox morzilla if u r hving problem with activex it will show der to download it again n will fix it i thinik...

Are you running the client on a PC with Administrator? Try running the PC under Administrator Mode and try to Launch the game. If this doesn't work, Click on the Updater.bat file present in the same folder and then try running the A3.exe.

I am having some troubles starting the game, patched it and everything, when i start it, an archer pic comes up and then a dialog box with some info like my pc name, ip address, component (activeX) and at the bottom of that dialog box it says ftp response21: cant open data connection. I unblocked the firewall, unblocked it from windows firewall, rebooted pc, still its giving same error.

It might be due to Firewall settings or some Third Party Software is blocking the file transfer.

You can use that EXE file, Place it in the Game folder and Press Launch to run the game. But make sure you keep manually updating the client.

I downloaded did everything I use update it starts when i click on connect it shows some files are corrupted re-install project a3,please.Don't know why this is happning

Do the following:

1. Download the Client using the links in the thread below:

2. Update your Client by downloading the 507 Update and extract it on your Client.
http://forum.a3mania.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7

Run A3.exe and Update the Client to 508 version.
Then Use the Connect option in the Launcher to start the game!

Which client are you using? Make sure you patched the Data folder also!

Well i hv only problem tat i cant run te game if my antivirus AVG is on every time i had to play i uninstall it is der ne way i can avoid doing so n can play the game...

Using A3Mania Client and patched the data forlder updated the new patch still don't know whats the problem now cannot understand pulled my hair out
