hello gm , hello maniacs . ( back here again on forums after a long time ~ reason - wasnt able to long in ^_^ )

just check that out too

just to make few things clear , my isp , laptop etc are in great condition and have np . i'm using 32bit OS , firewall has not blocked anything relating a3 and my antivirus is off .

i download the A3Mania562Client , the patch and the updater ... followed the steps flawlessly that were given in the game client installation guide . and yet it doesnot work !

It says "connecting to a3mania update server" , but it doesnt update !!
Moreover in the same window as it mentions "loading news" at the top ... after few seconds it says "Navigation to the webpage was canceled " .
the window remains idle the same way without any change .

this is all ...
GM , KB guys seriously ... i seriously want a way to fix this !

uninstall ur antivirus and try worked for me ^_^


get the latest a3client.exe from some1 or gimme ur email address ill send it to u in .txt format u just change it to .exe and replace the a3client.exe in ur a3mania folder wid the one i sent u... den download the bypass launcher (google it) then use d bypass launcher n play the game

okey see , on extracting the updater patch u get a total of 3 files .
now , according to the instructions
"" Files in Data folder should be copied in the Data folder of the Client and the files in the base folder should be copied to the base folder of the client ""

among the extracted files there is no file as 'data' folder . just 1 .exe file and 2 .dll files .

which to copy where . by default in the 'root folder' there are those dll files and the exe files , so actually speaking i should replace those (all) extracted files in the root folder . in other words what is the instruction trying to say ~ or is it wrong ?

compare the names of the extracted files to the names of the files in the a3mania installation folder. u just have to overwrite the files wherever you find them. on a second note, unless your installation is corrupt, this problem is due to the client not able to connect to the server which can only be caused by an ISP problem.

no doubt about the installation , cross checked it many times . as u said ' my client is not able to connect to the server ' ~ this is my main issue .
u say its an isp prob , i dont think so ... m using the same isp i used before for playing with no changes ... this prob appeared just w/o warning ... any ideas why ?

what changed between when you could connect and now ?? try to think of the system softwares u installed and any changes to settings that u made. also please specify how do you connect to the modem ? wifi/lan cable/usb modem.

the system is in the xact same situation with no addition or removal of any system files or general applications . the only only difference is that now the system is full of movies .

just to make it clear , i cant find any fault from my end ...
it is like , yesterday i was online , and today i get up to play and bang ! not able to update !

I guess, I had the same problem before, but I happen to resolve it. Problem lies with firewall settings of your pc.
Mention the following things
1) Antivirus
2) OS x32 or x64?

the answers have been stated above and rest are in the link given in the first post .
anyways again for u ... firewall is running fine with A3.exe in the exeptions list .
and 1) my antivirus is off , so no flaw from antivirus point of view
2) 32bit ... ( used 32bit updater )

Its because of the Internet Explorer. Check if your Internet Explorer is able to work properly. Also check for some proxy settings which might be blocking your network access.

Try turning off your firewall.
