cnt start game

I downloaded the game today, installed it, and then copied the patch, was unable to copy a3client.exe, gives an error - cannot copy a3client : access is denied. I switched off my anti virus (AVG), but still couldnt. Then, when I try to open a3, it opens up till the launcher screen ( where we get options lyk connect, register, quit etc.). But when I press connect, nthing happens, simply nthing, its just my normal desktop, plzzzzzzz help, wnt to play badly, my pc specs r not the prob (checked it) and I can run a3 india easily, plz help.
