see iv got a similar problem as oder users previosuly...i v gone thru the threads.....all d users had d prob of deir anti virus.....n aftr dey uninstalled > it worked.....

but the prob wid me is...i v uninstalled my avg n den reinstalled d game...but stil im facing dat same problem...dat wen u click connect nuthing happens...n if i try bypass launcher....n click on connect it says cannot find A3client.exe tho i hav it in my folder......n wen i click d a3client.exe in my folder it says 'u dont hav appropriate permissions to access this item'...man i v really been trying a lot...

plz help me out.

Bro Just Uninstall Ur Antivirus

Or

Press Start> Then Run > Then Type "msconfig" in that
and Disable all Startup items

Or Last Opt is Format PC and Try

No need to format. It si basically and OS setting or an antivirus setting. It might have removed the a3client.exe files from the zip archive as well as the folder. As you have uninstalled AVG, you should redownload only the "PATCH" 5.12 version and then use the a3client.exe file in it. It should work.

If its saying that you don't have Permission, then it means that your Antivirus is locking the file in order to prevent any other application or the user to access it due to the Virus detection in it.

Add an Exception and apply the Patch again. It should be fine.

Dude i guess you are not using the Administrator account on your computer. Login the admin account make the changes in anti-virus(Add a3client.exe to exception list or disable anti-virus) and then try starting the game.

AVG has this known issue. I have got the same problem. it always deletes/vaults the a3client.exe. I have to go manually to the virus vault and restore the a3client.exe
